Social crowdsourcing for public and municipal authorities
State and municipal activity in modern realities is based on closer interaction with the population. Citizens, urban and village residents are all consumers of public services, and more and more of them are ready to actively influence these services. If one does not listen to these active groups of the population and makes decisions in isolation from them, there is a rejection of any changes "from above" and an increasing misunderstanding between the government and society.
The experience and knowledge of ordinary people, "people's experts" who know the situation at place and in their fields can be used to create a truly effective public administration based on the consolidation of interests and the principle of "listening" power. In recent years, this thesis has been repeatedly voiced at the highest level.
Many existing tools perform this function only partially, as they do not allow to build a full-fledged process of interaction with the population, or create information noise, in which a priori it is impossible to create valuable and realizable proposals.
Social crowdsourcing, that is, involving a wide range of individuals in government activities, is not a replacement, but an addition to the already existing expert professional groups, and can be used in conjunction with them. Managing ideas using the BrainForce platform allows you to organize such work sequentially or in parallel.
Our approach in social crowdsourcing is not aimed at organizing abstract communication, but at obtaining a concrete and achievable result within the framework of the tasks set, which is generated and refined by the public environment itself, and therefore relies on mass support.
The integration of information and analytical systems based on human resources and the use of advanced crowdsourcing technologies allow to solve a wide range of tasks for public authorities:
- Effective public interaction of authorities with citizens and increase of public trust
- Involvement of active Internet users in productive work
- Creating a culture of civic consent and competent participation of active citizens as opposed to fruitless political criticism and public protest campaigns
- Building a flexible, effective communication on the innovation principles with the business, the expert community and key community groups
- Improving the competitiveness
- Improving the quality of public services
