Youth competition "You are an entrepreneur"

The project "You are an entrepreneur" was dedicated to the search and selection of business projects among young people, as well as training in basic entrepreneurial knowledge and skills.

Objectives:

• Youth involvement into entrepreneurship
• Creating a loyal attitude among high school students to entrepreneurship
• Identification of innovative projects
• Support of young people involved in entrepreneurial activities

Description:

The contest "You are an entrepreneur" was held by the Ministry of Education and Science for students among 9 and 10 year of education.The first stage was carried out as part of a crowdsourcing project. During the project, participants posted their business ideas in the specified areas on the platform prepared by Collective Intelligence Systems, as well as selected and discussed other people's ideas. According to the results of the voting, 100 best ideas for participation in the semi-final were revealed, which was a training in the basics of business planning and preparation of business plans based on the submitted ideas. The Committee identified 50 finalists, who worked full-time with experts in the field of entrepreneurship, as well as held training workshops. At the end of the stage, the ideas were publicly defended before the competition Committee.

Results:

The project justified itself, showed high activity and interest of young people in entrepreneurial activity. During 3 weeks of the online part of the project, 250 business ideas were posted, more than 1500 ratings were delivered and 240 comments were written.
